What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We accept the Scriptures as the unrivaled truth concerning our faith, lifestyle and doctrine.
God
We believe in one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) who created the heavens and the earth. He chose to reveal Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).
Baptism
We believe in baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-6; Acts 2:38.)
New Beginnings of Otay was birthed from a need in the community. A need to reach out to the underserved. Those seeking to fill the void in their lives with substances, gangs, and self-fulfillment. A void that only Jesus can fill. We were called to bring Hope to Otay. To be a ray of light in a dark corner of the city.
